Dick is the CEO of Bonifield Associates. He is a talented insurance professional who has over 25 years experience in sales management,
administration and operations. Prior to joining Bonifield Associates, he was President and CEO of American Crown Life Insurance Company, having joined
that company as Vice President of Insurance Operations just three years prior to his appointment to the presidency. He also served on the Executive
Committee of the Board of Directors.
Prior to being recruited to American Crown, Dick was Second Vice President at Columbian Mutual Life, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing
administration. Dick began his career at Reliance Standard Life, which he joined as a management trainee upon graduation from St. Francis College.
Following his initial training at RSL, he was quickly promoted and held several important management positions in both sales and marketing and administrative
operations. These positions allowed him to interact with all departments within the company.
His insurance career was interrupted while at RSL when he was called upon to serve in the military. Dick attended Officers Candidate School and the
Defense Language Institute, where he studied Vietnamese. As a First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army, Dick spent a year as a Military Advisory in Vietnam
where he received numerous decorations.
Throughout his career Dick has always been a proponent of combining experience with continuing education. He has earned the CLU, ChFC and FLMI designations,
and served as President and a board member of a CLU Chapter.
Dick's unique background has provided him with first-hand experience in life companies that were general agency, brokerage, PPGA, and life affiliates
of multi-line companies in both sales and operational areas. He has worked in special markets, payroll deduction, special risk, group and home service.
He has a truly unique and diverse background, which is well suited to his working with clients on their staffing needs, whether those needs are in sales,
marketing, administration or operations. |
