In 1990 Sean Sweeney joined Bonifield Associates as a consultant specializing in the insurance industry. Since joining the firm, Sean has had the
opportunity to apply the knowledge, expertise and experience he gained from 12 years of insurance sales and management, with hundreds of insurance
clients. He has placed many professionals in important intermediate and senior level positions nationally and internationally, thus assisting his
clients in resolving staffing and management problems, while improving the careers of many individuals.
Upon graduation from Rutgers University, Sean joined a Fortune 500 corporation. This work with the corporate community led to his accepting positions
with the INA and Maccabees Mutual in Group Insurance Sales. Comprehensive training at INA in many areas including Group Life, Major Medical, LTD, STD,
Association, Special Risk, Reinsurance, Self-funding and Underwriting led to success and recognition within the group marketplace. Sean had the
opportunity to work with agents, brokers, property and casualty agents, TPAs and general agents.
Sean left the company side and became a manager of a property and casualty brokerage firm. With his employee benefits and special risk background,
he developed the firm into representing 50% of all the high school districts in Southern New Jersey for their student accident coverage. Sean offered
consulting services to them for their employee benefits programs.
Sean achieved the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation in 1994. In addition, Sean is a Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Association of
Personnel Consultants and currently serves as an Advisor to the Board. He has been a guest speaker on numerous radio and television programs
highlighting the recruiting industry, as well as being quoted in national publications. |
